This policy explains what data the DoseMed iPhone app and the dosemed.app website handle, and why. DoseMed is published by DevSome Tech (Devsome Yazılım ve Bilişim Hizmetleri Ticaret Anonim Şirketi), Türkiye ("we", "us").
The short version: DoseMed has no accounts. Your medication list, schedule and dose history are stored on your iPhone. We never sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Data stored on your device
Your medications, reminder schedules, pill counts and dose history are stored in the app's database on your iPhone. We do not receive a copy. Deleting the app deletes this data, unless you have turned on iCloud sync.
iCloud sync (optional)
iCloud sync is off until you turn it on. When it is on, your data is synchronised through your private iCloud database using Apple's CloudKit. It is tied to your Apple account; we cannot access it. You can turn sync off at any time in the app's settings.
AI assistant
When you send a message to the assistant, the message, the earlier messages in that chat and the names of the medications on your list are sent to our server and passed to our AI provider, OpenAI, to generate a reply. We do not save conversations in a database. Our hosting provider's operational logs may contain request details, which we use only for troubleshooting. OpenAI processes the request under its API data policy, which does not use API data to train its models by default. The chat is discarded in the app when you close it.
Do not include your name or other identifying details in assistant messages.
Drug information requests
The drug catalog is bundled with the app. When you open a medication, the app may download that product's label sections from our server. The request contains the product identifier, not information about you.
Analytics
The app uses Amplitude to understand how the app is used, for example which screens are opened and whether reminders are set up successfully. These events are linked to a random identifier, not to a name, email address or phone number. They do not include the contents of your medication list.
The dosemed.app website uses cookieless analytics (Plausible, and Ahrefs Web Analytics) that do not set cookies or build personal profiles.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether your Premium subscription is active, using an anonymous app user ID. We never receive your payment details.
Contacting support
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them only to reply.
Children
DoseMed is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Because we do not hold your medication data, you control it on your device: you can edit or delete it in the app, export it as CSV, or delete the app. For anything we do hold (such as support emails), you can ask us to access, correct or delete it by emailing support@devsome.tech. Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or Türkiye's KVKK give you these rights.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
