Not medical advice
DoseMed is a tool for organising your medications. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not tell you to start, stop or change a dose. Drug information comes from FDA labelling published on DailyMed, is U.S.-centric, and may be incomplete, out of date or contain errors. Answers from the AI assistant can be wrong.
Always follow the advice of your doctor or pharmacist. Do not rely on DoseMed as your only reminder for a medication where a missed or late dose could cause serious harm. Reminders depend on your device's notification settings, battery and operating system, and may not be delivered. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the information you enter, including medication names, doses and times, and for checking that reminders are set up correctly.
Subscriptions
DoseMed is free to use. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple account. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings. If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Licence
The app is licensed, not sold, to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to your use of DoseMed. Where these terms and that agreement differ, these terms apply to the extent permitted.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, DoseMed is provided "as is", without warranties, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for harm resulting from missed reminders or from reliance on drug information or assistant answers.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
